Make A High-End Designer Book Stack

NEW: Set of 5 Digital Book Covers, Calligraphy Designs. Recycle your paperback books with these covers and turn them into a high-end designer book stack. What a great gift. Easy enough for the kids to make. It took me 10 minutes per book.

The ladies are using my book covers for their junk journals and other craft projects, too! The front and back covers are interchangable for more design options.

Also, lots of Halloween book covers in my BOOK SECTION of the shop, too. Click here...

Two More New Halloween Paperback Book Covers Digital Downloads

I am definitely addicted to designing these Halloween covers to upcycle those 4" x 6.75" standard size paperbacks we have kicking around.

This one looks like tooled leather, but is actually a paper printout.

Both digitals are in the Book Section of my shop...     www.rhondasoriginals.biz

The second design with the spider web came to me after seeing an antique
pamphlet on witch trials in the 1600s.

SOMETHING NEW: Book Stacks...The Real Thing ... Not My Digital Downloads !

Set of 3 recycled paperbacks. I designed the covers and spines, then attached them to the old books. The embellishment is air dry clay molded from an antique cookie mold. Sari silk ribbon is wrapped around each book. They are not bound together, like we usually see done, because I wanted people to be able to pick them up and enjoy both sides.

Edges are scuffed up with brown in and metallic gold paint. Colors are aqua, black on white paper.

The theme is "Mother and Child, " so I made one book with ABCs, and another with a fairy and baby, and the third is an antique Cinderella chapbook cover from the mid-1800's. I designed the backside of that one, "The Little Glass Slipper." Evidently that was the original title of "Cinderella" way back when.

NEW: Recycle Your Old Paperbacks With My Halloween Digital Book Covers

High end shops are charging hundreds of dollars for a stack of books to use for home decor. But now you can make your own for pennies. Check out my new BOOK Section in my etsy shop. https://www.etsy.com/shop/RhondasOriginals?ref=simple-shop-header-name&listing_id=734414573&section_id=27038325

All you need is the printout, an old 4" x 6.75" paperback, and a brown ink pad, if you would like to dirty up your book's edges.

Easy enough for the kids to make. Great for gifts or to use as a Make-And-Take project for your Halloween party.

I have started uploading Halloween digital download book covers like the ones below, but have lots of other options that can be used all year round.

Coming Soon: Book Stacks To Buy OR Make Yourself

BOOK STACKS made by me, but also the digital downloads so you can make your own!

Halloween, beach, wedding themes, and more! Just glue the covers/ spine to a standard size paperback book. Scuff with brown ink to make it look old, tie some twine, and voila . The covers adapt to a standard size paperback...and we all have those kicking around somewhere. I got mine for free at the Friends of the Library.

You can make a stack with various themes, then just switch the top book depending on the time of year.
